Dear Lord my doctor has just told me that I have Cancer. I don’t know how bad it is yet and I don’t know if I shall live or die. I don’t know what to do…

Oh gracious God protect me in this time of turmoil! Show me your love and grace and give me the faith to follow your divine plan. My body and soul is in your arms and I give myself over to you completely.

Dear Lord protect me as I grow old. I am not as strong as I once was and I feel each day that I am more vulnerable to this often cruel world.

My family and friends have all passed and it is only you who have by my side.

Protect me Lord until the fine day when I may enter your Kingdom. Amen.

Let us never forget the lives that were lost.

Let us never forgot what stood there ten years ago. Let us never forget the courage. Let us never forget the heroes. Let us never forget the pain of the survivors. Let us never forget the fear. Let us never forget the strength we’re still using to overcome that fear. Let us never forget that on a day of such unimaginable evil we also saw a day of incredible love, sacrifice and humanity.

Let us never forget.

Lord help me I feel so lost! I just found out that my husband has been cheating on me for the past nine years. I feel in my heart that I should forgive him – and I know that it is you telling me that – but I just can’t bring myself to do it yet. All I feel at the moment is anger!

Will I ever be able to forgive him Lord? I’m not sure that I even should…

Guide me father and show me the light. You are my almighty and my faith is in you. Show me the righteous path that I should follow.

Lord please help my father in his time of need. He has been stricken with Cancer and the chances of him making a full recovery do not look good.

He is the heart and soul of our family and without him we will all be lost. He has always been there whenever I’ve needed him and even though now he is sick he is still there for me. I can not imagine the thought of losing him this way. Please dear Lord hear this prayer.

My Lord I feel sometimes like I am nothing – just a faceless being in a crowd of people with nothing special or remarkable about myself. Am I really this way? It is not the way I want to feel..

Lord give me the strength to believe that I am special – I know in my heart that all of your children are special – I just want to feel it. Please give the confidence to smile and show my love. I love you my Lord. Amen.

Oh heavenly father – what I pray for is simple. I pray for hope. These days I find so much tragedy and despair in the world that I am often left feeling down and without any inspiration or energy.

But I do not pray for hope for myself – I pray for hope amongst others so that they may inspired to achieve and bring joy to the world. It is the actions of others that will lift me up my Lord.

Please hear my prayer for hope in this world Lord. Amen.

“Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.” – Psalm 31:24

Thank you dear God for my beautiful sister and the love that she has for the world. She is one of the most precious things in my life and the work that she does for charity and those less fortunate is truly remarkable and blessed.

Today I learned that she is about to go to Africa for three weeks to help the needy and hungry. She will also be helping to build an orphanage while she is there.

Please bless her and protect her over there and help her do your work to the best she can. Amen.

Dear lord please help me and keep my son in my life. I know that I’ve made mistakes in the past and I know that I have sinned but I also know that my son is the reason for my every breath and the reason that I have managed to turn my life around.

His mother is moving away from and will take him with him. It’s not her fault that she has to move but it just doesn’t seem fair to me. Can you help me lord?
